FAQs on NDIS Supported Temporary Accommodation
Is STA only for participants?
Not necessarily! NDIS-supported temporary accommodation in Victoria is designed to benefit both participants and their primary carers. It provides respite for carers too, while offering skill-building and social interaction for their loved ones.
Can I choose activities during my stay?
Absolutely! We encourage participants to pursue their hobbies, workshops and choose with whom they want for group outings as long as they enjoy it. Activities are tailored to support their individual goals and capacities.
How much in advance should I book STA?
BrightPath Psychosocial & Disability Services recommends booking at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance, so that we can handle emergency and short-notice placements depending on availability.
Can I carry my belongings with me?
We’d advise you to carry just your personal essentials. The rest will be supplied by us on your arrival.
